Door/Millwork Installer

CFI - Certified Flooring Installation is looking for door installers. We are one of the largest companies in the industry and have immediate capacity and jobs ready for installation.

Job Duties and Activities:

  • Install doors and hardware of all kinds at residential job sites efficiently and correctly, all while keeping the customer’s happiness in mind.
  • Communicate well with homeowners during the measurement or installation process, which includes informing them of the process, resolving their concerns, and solving problems.
  • Be able to prioritize and schedule your work according to business needs.
  • Comply with CFI’s standards and procedures.
  • After the installation, supply paperwork and job pictures in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • A minimum of three years of experience installing doors and/or trim carpentry is preferred.
  • Vehicle, trailer, door units up to eight feet wide, to take to job sites.
  • Must be able to provide their own tools and basic consumables, such as basic caulk, trim carpentry/door installation tools, shims, screws/nails, and more.
  • Access to a smartphone and/or tablet with an internet connection is required.
  • EPA RRP Certified (Lead Safe Work Practices) is preferred and pays more per job. CFI assists subcontractors in obtaining certification if necessary.

As a Customer Order Specialist, you will take care of scheduling installations, order communication, and customer surveying. Our ideal candidate will have experience in customer service and call centers. Having strong communication skills and a positive attitude is important for this role.
